It is often said, you gain a pound of body weight per every day onboard. A seven day cruise can mean going home at least seven pounds heavier. Why the onboard weight gain? Most people travel to get to a cruise, and eating airline food or fast food in airports tends to be of lower quality and high in fat. So you’re already behind the eight ball just getting to and from your cruise. Then once you get onboard there is a large selection of free food available 24 hours a day. Now, of course most people are not used to being in an environment where you can eat as much as you want for free. Think about it, we’ve been living our whole lives paying for food, and now all of a sudden it’s free… but just for seven days! Of course we’re going to be tempted to eat as much free food as we can before we have to go home and start paying for it again.
But if you want secrets on how to avoid weight gain onboard, with out ruining your fun knowing what not to do is the key. Or if you need to lose weight onboard here are some practical tips for you to follow.
