St Thomas

St Thomas – USVI – Very nice this time of year.  The water is a refreshing escape from the warm sun.  My wife and I spent the day at Magens beach, which is said to be one of the top ten beaches in the world.  There are shipboard tours that go there or you can get a local taxi.  The beach is on the other side of the island from where the ship docks, but only a 20 minute drive away.  The best part is having a cocktail on the beach, so take some US dollars with you.  There’s a couple of waitresses walking the beach taking orders and they also take credit cards.  The drinks are expensive but part of the experience.  Hint:  They do not accept ship cards for payment.
